Proceeds from each shirt will go to Dan and his family to support medical travel expenses and to help raise awareness of PSC.
My nephew, Dan Carr who is a father of 2 and a firefighter/EMT of 14 years and member of IAFF Local 1715 has been diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare chronic liver disease that is currently incurable.
Dan is in need of a liver transplant NOW and has begun that process.
Unfortunately, this all needs to occur in Pittsburgh which is 2 hours from Dan's home. Outpatient appointments are scheduled frequently, and multiple trips are needed for both pre and post-transplant.
